Merrifield House is the most beautiful house in stunning grounds. The owners Nicky and David Cosford have thought of every evenutality regarding the stocking of the house (furniture, kitchen, games, etc etc etc) It was wonderful for us to bring our dogs with us and they had a wail of a time! Our annual pilgrimage to Devon and the South Hams was made all the better for the fantastic weather and superb base of Merrifield. With 7 adults, 3 teenagers and 4 children. the house was perfect in it's facilities, it's size and access to so many wonderful beaches. David,Nikki and kids were extremely friendly and helpful tour guides. We thoroughly enjoyed our week. It was the proverbial 'belter'

This is a fabulous house, in a beautiful area. Although only 3 miles from the A38, all you can hear is birdsong - one feels a million miles from traffic. The house is most generously equipped and beautifully decorated. The owners are delightful, providing chilled wine and local bacon and eggs on our arrival. Highly recommended."
